Stage 3: Personalised One-on-One Fabric Shopping

How does it work?

This is all about being creative with layers, textures and colours, and is exciting, lots of fun, and you will amazed at what you'll come out with. The final decision is always yours, and we freely offer recommendations and alternatives on fabric options (what ever your budget).

We take a stroll around the fabric shop checking out the fabrics which might be suitable to your order.

We recommend to pull out the rolls of fabric that you like (normally Kirsten gets to be the 'lucky one' to hold all the rolls of fabric), and then we 'sequester' a mirror and taking each farbic in turn, drape it in front of you, and begin to narrow down the chpoices until we come to the perfect colour, combinations and textures.

Fabric shopping is much easier and more enjoyable when you have someone there who can offer advice when you need it.

We only visit fabric retailers which stock fabric that is most suitable to your order

Our preferred retailer is Centrepoint Fabrics in Newmarket.  The staff there are fantastic, they know their fabrics and what they've got in-store. They also help with alternatives in price, colour and suitability.

Then we can relax woith a 'hot cuppa'

When we are finished, we go for a well deserved coffee, tea or hot chocolate at a local café, usually this will be at Zarbo's (next to Centrepoint). We talk about the next stage in your order, and how your experience has been thus far.
