Stylized Illustrations
During our consultations we keep sketching until you see your dream garment on paper. We ask you lots of questions about your design to make sure we have the right idea. We discuss options and alternatives,
Figure Templates
These are great tools to help you design your garments. They are simple body outlines in various poses (front, back, sides, etc) which allow you to draw on the clothing. They are perfect for practising and you keep the right body proportions.
Fabric Shopping
We go fabric shopping with you for your order. We give you ALL the information you need to make wise choices, that are right for you and your budget!
Private Tutoring
Malcolm Design offers private tutoring lessons on a one-on-one basis. They can be tailored to suit and great to learn new skills, from illustrations, pattern-making and sewing.
Class Presentations
Malcolm Design's presentations are motivating, encouraging and inspiring! We love to visit the local highschools to do this, talk to the students about having their own business, and what sort of things they need to learn and experience to make it a success.
Garment Bags
They are essential for travelling and storage, and are made from durable, machine washable calico. They all feature a full length zip, so there is no crushing or squishing of your clothes.

Ever thought of matching your dream garment with an accessory? You could try a handbag, a shawl or stole, or perhaps a veil for your wedding dress. The choice is yours! Give it a try!
CHICK NITES!
Malcolm Design hosts funky fabulous presentations, called CHICK NITES. They are entertaining, funny, light-hearted and educational, all in one! The whole idea of these evenings is to have a good time!

We keep your patterns on file so that if you come back for more, it is quicker and faster to get other garmetns made, and it saves you money too - you are simply paying only for adjustments in the pattern and the making of the actual garment! So brilliant!
