2006 Girls Day In - Whangaparoa
Expo's are a great way to meet new clients up close and personal! We had a lot of fun and our stall was packed with photographs, samples and portfolios to look through. They also had the opportunity to talk to us; Stacey (the Fashion Designer and Dressmaker) and Kirsten (Fashion Designer and Manager). During the course of the day, Stacey also did her 'on the spot' 10-second sketches which were a massive hit with the crowd. Kirsten was also there to meet and greet everyone and introduce them to what Malcolm Design did.

Designed to focus on women, the show emphasized the importance of treating yourself well, having a little indulgence, and knowing what products and services are out there for any one of those special occasions. Through the support of local businesses and those from the greater Auckland area, the Girls Day In was a fantastic success. The expo had a wide range of things on offer; from clothes, photography, handicrafts, wedding planners, florists, and much more.

It was our first exhibition, and we had an incredible time! Our stall was interactive, interesting and offered opportunities to view garments made by other customers, check out samples and ask questions. It also allowed us the freedom to meet many new people and introduce them to the world of dressmaking, showing them what we do, how we do it and why we are the best at what we do. The expo was very busy the whole day and we had an enormous amount of fun, seeing the day as hugely successful!
