Morris (Morrie)

Hi everyone, my name is Morris!

 

My name is Morris and I REALLY love cuddles (I'm known as the "cuddle-muffin") and I always visit when customers come over and if you let me, I will sit happily on your lap and go purr-purr-purr!  You won't find a happier cat than me.  Just like my brother Licorice, I love handbags, but mostly shoes (they have so many fabulous smells).  I was born with Licorice in the same litter, in January 2008.

 

Stacey is my mum, Licorice is my (biological) brother and Little Grey is my new brother (I admit though, I am still getting used to having him around...but I mostly like him...mostly).

                                     

 

Here I am all grown up and LOVING the outside, playin and running up and down my cabbage tree in the back yard.  My favourite trick is to take a running leap up the tree perch at the top while I select my perfect cabbage leaf, and scale down again (backwards of course) and present a fresh leaf to my mum (who gets to swish it round and round and round in circles, and I get to chase it).  It's SO much fun!

    

 

But to tell the truth....this is my MOST favourite naughty trick - shredding as many toilet paper rolls as I can!  Little does mum know, that I sneak into the bathroom when she isn't looking and snack on the roll on the holder....so she can't use it when she needs to (it's mine!!)  Ha ha ha!!

                                

 

So look out for me when you come visiting, I promise you I am super friendly and will purr heaps for you and be snuggly and warm! 

I am really really loving my new home here in Lauderdale Road.  It's warm and dry and there is lots of things for me to play with... like the neighbours dog (I LOVE taunting her), and the other neighbours large fluffy rabbits (they REALLY like to play). 

There is also lots of grass to play on with my brother Licorice, but now I have to be a wee bit more careful around him, because he only has three legs.  I reckon we'll still have loads of fun (and secretly, I love the fact I can run faster than him now), and gets into all sorts of trouble!!

Most of all, I am looking forward to meeting you in the new studio, where I can introduce myself, and if you will let me, I can warm your lap for you!
