Licorice (Licky)

Hi everyone, let me introduce myself...

I am Licorice and I love to come visiting when customers come around, because I know I get lots of cuddles and smiles. I admit, I love sniffing handbags and shoes, but hey, I am a furry feline after all. I was born in January 2008.

Kirsten is my mum, Morris is my (biological) brother and Little Grey is my new brother.

I began as everyone else - a cheeky kitten. My favourite things back then were eating, playing and climbing curtains (much to my mum's disgust). My nickname soon became Licky, as I couldn't help licking things (everything just seemed to taste so nice), so the name stuck! I now of course have many nickname (some which can't be repeated - depending on how naughty I am).

Now that I am grown up, I can run faster and my mum feeds me "fishy-fishy-fishies" (my favourite). I love playing games and cannot wait to get outside and play in the grass and climb the trees.

So please don't be afraid to pick me up and cuddle me when you see me - I am very friendly and "mrow" loudly for attention (just so you know I am there).

Lately I have been testing out my "Superman" capabilities (I've always had an invisible Superman cape strapped on my back), but I quickly realised that my Superman cape isn't going to protect me like it had in the past.

Although I have been really enjoying myself in my lovely new home, I admit I've been quite naughty and gotten myself into a wee spot of bother. As such, I now have three mighty strong legs instead of four, so I have to learn new tricks and other ways of enjoying myself!

I'm still coming to terms with my "hop-a-long" status, so please cuddle me gently and as soon as you know it I will be up and running and into my old antics just like normal.
